Accutive is seeking a Sr. QA Analyst to join our Financial Services practice. This role will support test planning and execution for our on digital banking projects.
Responsibilities
- Understand project documents, customer demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases
- Reproduce, debug and isolate problems, and verify fixes
- Analyze test logs, create test reports, provide release risk assessment, and quality recommendations for stakeholders
- Capture, analyze and provide critical data to allow the team to assess the risk of pushing code to production and its potential impact on customers
- Works closely with developers to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle, understand and document software change risks, create test plans with change-specific test cases, and produce test reports
- Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication
- Collaborate with developers in reviewing unit test and integration results for coverage analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communcation skill
- Must be self-motivated, independent, resourceful
- Prior experience working remote
- Prior experience testing on the Temenos Journey platform is a major asset.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years web/mobile application QA experience in a fast-paced agile environment
- 3+ years experience developing high-quality test strategies and test automation scripts
- 3+ years testing APIs
- 2+ years testing digital banking applications
- Experience using JIRA
